Free HTML Templates for your Next Portfolio

by

A simple, minimal, responsive layout is by far the most appropriate design for a portfolio. As a UX designer, you want the work to speak for itself. You also want to spend more time polishing screenshots and documenting your process, and less time messing around with a responsive HTML layout.

One thing I’ve learned is to ‘not be a hero’. There is no need to write the HTML of your portfolio from scratch. There are dozens of websites out there with free templates that you can use – and some of them are really great.

Using Portfolio Templates

It shouldn’t take more than a few days (or even a few hours) to have your portfolio ready. You will also need to free up as much time as possible to spend developing the things that really matter – the content and the presentation of your work.

I’ve rounded up a list of links that offer free HTML templates that you can use in your portfolio.
